Indoor Air Quality Checklists

Legislation requires that the district utilize the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Tools for Schools Program to inspect and evaluate indoor air quality within all school buildings.  These results must be posted on the district’s website, publicly shared with the board of education at a regular meeting, and submitted to the Department of Administrative Services.

The required inspection was conducted at each school and evaluated using the following EPA checklists:

• Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Checklist
• Food Service Checklist
• Integrated Pest Management Checklist
• Walkthrough Inspection Checklist
• Waste Management Checklist
• Ventilation Checklist

Ventilation checklists were completed by the district's HVAC vendor, GR Wade, LLC for each unit/area at each school.  The completion of other checklists were completed by a team of dedicated school staff.
